March 2017 iPhonetography

Oh, hey! We actually did something in March!  Instead of just a grid of photos of my kid, this month we have… a grid of photos of my kid in Europe. ?  We had a truly wonderful time, and I’ll be sharing a little more detail about our trip later.  I’ve had several questions about international travel with a toddler, plus we obviously need to talk about all the delicious food we ate in France!

In the meantime, here’s the monthly photo roundup: a European adventure, a cooking class, and the littlest lab intern.

As usual, here’s a roundup in pictures of how we spent the past month. Many of these come from my private Instagram account, but you can follow along on my public account here.

1)  Made a beeline straight to the toddler-sized fluoroscopy equipment: definitely a radiologist’s kid!
2)  My little dining companion, chowing down on a burrito the size of his head.
3)  Can we talk about the Marie Curie filter that Snapchat put out for International Women’s Day, which included blue eyes, lots of eyeshadow, and fake lashes.  Because clearly, this is what a scientist is supposed to look like? Sigh.
4)  Best friends, enjoying the unseasonably warm early spring weather.
5)  Eating a baguette while watching the toy sailboards in the pond in the Luxeumbourg Garden.  Parisian life suits Ryan just fine.
6)  Babywearing at 324 meters above ground – the view from the top of Tour Eiffel.
7)  Beautiful macarons? Yes, please.
8)  Is there anything prettier than Paris in springtime?  Doubtful.
9)  Sacré-Cœur Basilica, sitting high above the rest of Paris.
10) London certainly puts on quite a springtime show, too.  St. James’s Park in early spring is A++.
11) Classic London view.
12) Ryan loved the London Eye – birds eye view of all the double decker busses!
13) Such a happy little traveler – he had so much fun!
14) Back home in Philly, but still fast asleep on my back.  Babywearing is perfect for jetlagged little toddlers.
15) Fantastic class at COOK with Yehuda Sichel and the amazing team from Abe Fisher.  The theme was “Abe Fisher Goes to Asia” and absolutely every course was unique, adventurous, and outstanding.
16) A few childcare and backup childcare fails meant a little intern in the lab.  Not even 2 and already working on his pipetting skills!
